Altruistic Bird

The world, the nature, the mountains in front of me.

Expanded over the horizon.

Breathe in, Breathe out.

I'd like to turn off the settings.

Simply exist for a moment.

A bird came to visit, with its beautiful colors.

It sang a lovely melody to me.

"What a wonderful bird!" - I thought.

A tiny rock has been thrown at it and it flew away.

What a pity, I enjoyed its company.

Absence of the bird, Presence of something else.

I looked over my shoulder, human.

Rays of sun on my skin, an atmosphere cold like Antarctica.

No explanation.

I enjoy your company, although I know it will be a short memory.

You give me warmth. Something I was longing for quite some time.

"Why the rush? What's your goal?" - I prefer the journey.

I cherish the small moments.

You accuse me. You don't know where we are.

We are on the road, yesterday at the mountains.

You accuse me of the very things that began from you.

I've learned to exist within the moment.

"Why do you like me?" I asked.

You don't know.

I wish for you to become like that bird.

Free, flying through the mountains.

Visit, sing a melody.

When not appreciated, leave.

And there will be someone like me, that will enjoy your melody.

We liked to talk about destiny, surrounded by the mountains.

"What's our destiny?" you asked.

Maybe mine was to throw you out of the nest.

Become the bird I once admired, and fly.

Sing your melody.
